How do I Know if the Desiccant Should be Changed
This ozone laundry system uses highly active fine pored silica gel as its desiccant. The brand new silica gel desiccant is in blue and will turn pink when it is saturated. If it turns pink, it needs to be replaced.
How to replace the Desiccant
1. Remove the tray by squeezing the two slides together and pulling the dryer assembly out. 2. Use a screwdriver or other tool to remove the desiccant cartridge from the tray. 3. Unscrew the lid on one end of the desiccant cartridge. Pour out the expired pink beads and replace them with the new blue beads. Then screw the lid tightly. 4. Put the desiccant cartridge back into the tray and then install the tray back to the system.
